Editorial policy
The standards we hold our own reporting to, published so readers can hold us to them.
Sourcing
We prefer primary sources: official documentation, filings, published research, standards bodies and first-hand technical testing. Where a factual claim depends on an external source, that source is linked from the story so readers can verify it directly.
We do not fabricate quotes, interviews, studies, statistics or company statements. If we cannot verify a claim, we omit it or state plainly that it is unverified.
Authorship
Every article carries a named author with a public profile page listing their beat and their published work. Authors are accountable for the accuracy of the stories under their names. We do not publish anonymous editorial staff bylines, and we do not attribute stories to invented people.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Substantive corrections are noted in the story itself, and the modified date is updated. Requests for correction can be sent through the contact page and are reviewed by an editor, not by the author alone.
Updates
Technology coverage ages quickly. Where a story remains useful but facts have moved, we update the article in place and record a modified date rather than quietly rewriting history or republishing it as new.
Conflicts of interest
Zentry Technology develops and operates technology products. We disclose that relationship in any story where it is relevant, and we do not review or promote our own products as independent editorial coverage. Authors disclose personal financial interests in companies they cover and recuse themselves where the conflict is material.
Editorial independence
No advertiser, commercial partner, or affiliated product line has the right to review, approve or influence editorial content before publication. Any sponsored or paid placement, if we ever publish one, will be labelled unambiguously and will not be written by the editorial team.
Use of AI in the newsroom
We use AI tools for research assistance, transcription, copy editing and headline testing. We do not publish machine-generated articles as the work of a human author, and every published claim is checked by the named author against a source. AI output is treated as a draft or a lead, never as a citation.

We read every message. Tips, disagreements and corrections are all welcome, and we would rather be told we are wrong than stay wrong.
